Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure Weatherford's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental fully implemented and sustained across all areas of responsibility.
  • Review the Order Register to ensure that all equipment ordered is correctly identified and loctated upon receipt, including but not limited to: 
  1. No Generic Part Numbers are still detailed on the Purchase Order/Transfer Order
  2. Line Types are correctly defined (Stock, Asset, Expenced etc…)
  3. Branch Plants are correct based on the delivery terms
  • Ensure that all JDE transactions are completed within the timelines set so as to ensure that the JDE System is always accurste and up to date, based on the information supplied
  • Review all regional Inventory & Asset Branch Plants regularily, to ensure Branch Plant integrity as well as Asset depreciation
  • Provide in country support;
  1. Training on all Inventory & Asset reporting systems (eg. JDE, WBAM, Business Intelligence systems)
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies (eg. revenue recognition)
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required by your Direct and Indeirect Management
  • Assist and support the Inventory & Asset Team members as required, including any special projects
  • Investigate all system anomalies and correct said anomalies to ensure the JDE System is updated and accurate at all times
  • Advise In Country Asset & Inventory personnel on how to address the issues to reduce future reoccurance
  • Review all Orders/Transfers to ensure that the correct JDE Part Numbers have been assigned prior to order placement and where a Generic Part Number must be used ensure that the correct JDE Part Number has been assigned prior to the equipment being shipped from the supplier
  • Ensure that all Inventory & Assets are correctly received so as to ensure that invoicing is processed correctly and in accordance with company policy and procedures, and where necessary provide support in completing said Delivery Tickets
  • Ensure that all workloads assigned are completed in an efficient and accurate manor
  • To help identify and arrange training for all supervised staff
  • On an ongoing basis review and advise on any improvements that may assist in the development of either the team or internal processes or procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation / mandates
  • Ensure that Appraisals are completed within the timelines agreed, as part of said Appraisals provide meaningful feedback so as to ensure that management can assign the correct training as well as define future development plans


  • Experienced in Inventory & Asset management controls and processes
  • Experienced in monthly management reporting
  • Trained / Experienced in the use of Microsoft systems


  • Relevant PC skills in Excel, Word
  • Strong communication skills (both written & oral)
  • Ability to use initiative, judgement and work with minimum supervision
  • Experience of working closely with operational and Management personnel
  • Analytical awareness and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of JDE system
