  • Develop a good understanding of field operations and requirements, particularly the completion/Intervention challenges
  • Present added value solutions to customer, while highlighting technology differentiators
  • Meet assigned sales revenue targets by identifying opportunities for Weatherford’s Well Services and other applicable products offered
  • Track and monitor completion opportunities while maintaining current knowledge of pricing and technology trends, job performance and key management changes
  • Identify new technology opportunities, backed up with strong business cases
  • Introduce new technologies and follow up with the prospective end users
  • Deliver a convincing brand promise based on customer type and sales opportunities presented
  • Qualify, Prioritize and close sales opportunities
  • Independently host technical presentations with support from Country Sales Manager/Operations Manager
  • Coordinate technical workshops with various customer assets
  • Support management in setting market strategies and plans for assigned accounts
  • Develop and submit proposals against RFQ’s or client defined procurement requirements
  • Develop and maintain mutually productive relationships with prospective and existing end users
  • Complete EOWRs and ensure lessons learned are captured and applied in the next well
  • Ensure all client’s task teams are being briefed before every job and checklists for operations requirements are completed ahead of time
  • Address any complaints and resolve any problems in a prompt, professional manner
  • Regularly track and evaluate leads in Salesforce and document opportunities for sales pipeline
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager and operations team to monitor customer service quality standards
  • Submit budget & sales revenue forecasts, when requested by regional management team
  • Assist in planning conference & exhibition events (MEOS, ADIPEC etc.)
  • Actively participate in all Weatherford’s Safety Health & Environment initiatives (safety meetings, safety audits, etc.)



  • Experience in applications engineering for Well Services an asset
  • Strong communicational, negotiation and commercial skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in Well Services technologies
  • 3+ years in technical sales position, with a proven sales track record
  • Excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities to address client challenges
